World Class Trails for all to enjoy.
The Galloping Goose trail winds through 50 kilometres of West Coast forests
and coastal views. It takes you along the Gorge, which is an inland tidal waterway,
crossing this to the Selkirk area where the canoe club practices. Ride your
bikes or rent from the nearby shop located right at the start of the Goose.
Branch off the trail towards Swan Lake and spend some time watching the variety
of wildlife at the sanctuary. The Lochside Trail will take you all the way to
BC Ferries, through Sidney and past many interesting sites. We are centrally
located, at the edge of downtown Victoria, so you can avoid riding or walking
past congested areas on your way to these trails.
